A GLIMPSE OF OUR FUTURE

George Offerman

One doesn’t have to go far into speculation in order to see the future for those who stand up for life and by extension, hold to their Christian values.  We already know that Obama has put many different types of people on his watch lists, and these include ‘one issue’ folks, such as pro-lifers, second amendment advocates, Ron Paul supporters, ex-military and those belonging to Oath Keepers, as well as those who promote Christianity and fight against issues such as forcing Homosexual marriage and sex education down the throats of those who have a right to follow their conscious and reject the God/State in attempting to re-engineer reality.
An avid pro-lifer and good friend of mine, Dick Retta, is currently being charged for assault, and the Justice Department is using the FACE law ( Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances act) to prosecute this 80 year old man for the horrific crime of…. Handing out literature and encouraging women to reconsider killing their child and offering alternative services.  For this heinous crime against humanity, Eric Holder and his band of thugs are looking to impose at LEAST a $25,000 fine and the possibility of going to jail for some time.  And despite some pressure by outside sources for dropping these ridiculous charges, Eric the ‘gun runner’ Holder is having none of it.
Dick Retta has been in front of the Planned Parenthood site in Washington D.C for as long as I have known him, and this goes back nearly 15 years.  Mr. Retta is one of the most mild mannered individuals I have had the pleasure of working with, and to put him on par with drug runners, gun runners and all of the other human vermin running around is one of the gravest injustices that can occur.  However, according to Obamination and Gun-runner Holder, Christians are at the top of the list when they think of ‘terrorism’.  It appears in Obamination’s world, gun running and sending African American thugs to scare away white voters is no big deal (At least in Chicago) But God forbid, someone trying to save lives is seen as the terrorist.  Mr. Retta, maybe you should have offered to shoot the babies, and you might have walked.
We then have the case of Peter D’Attilio who was simply handing out 2 inch wide pro-life ‘book markers’ at a public gathering at a local Catholic church in Massachusetts when, after a complaint, was accosted by two police officers.  During this affair, one of the police officers accused Mr. D’Attilio of having outstanding warrants out on him (despite the officer having any idea who Mr. D’Attilio was at that moment, and had Mr. D’Attilio handcuffed, had his car illegally searched looking for ‘bombs’ and had Mr. D’Attilio charged with assault on a police officer, amongst other charges, and then proceeded to beat Mr. D’Attilio after handcuffing him, when there was no need to do so.

We can already begin to see, by the examples of abuse by the government and its representatives that sympathy for our cause and our beliefs is at an all-time low.  When we can have our government participate in Gun Running and virtually ignore gross violations of civil rights by a protected group onto the ‘dominant’ group, we have a situation in which lawlessness prevails and we will now fall into tyranny by the few against the majority.  It is happening right in front of us, and there is no deniability and no’ conspiracy theory’ in these matters.  We need to only open our eyes and see what is right in front of our faces.
We have already seen the passage of laws in the past week that allows for the military to detain indefinitely any ‘domestic terrorist’ from the homeland for an indefinite amount of time, while denying these people habeas corpus rights, and even allowing for torture and/or execution without trial.  We have also seen how the government wants to have the authority to shut down any internet site on the pretenses of ‘piracy’ and thus, be able to control the free flow of information that would allow supposed free Americans the right and the ability to keep tabs on happenings by our government and other official governing bodies.  It would seem that it is more about the crony government that does not want to be ‘outed’ than it is the phony charges of the phantom ‘terrorist’ this crony government would like us to believe.
We need to be very vigilant concerning the nature of charges brought against those in our society that is suspect at best, and criminal at worst.  The cases of both pro-lifers discussed above seems to demonstrate how our government has way over stepped their boundaries, and has become out of control concerning it’s seemingly blood thirsty ways of taking out any citizens who dare ‘cross the line’ or question the ever ‘god like’ stance these sociopaths dictate.  This government is getting more out of control and insane as we speak, and unfortunately, these lunatics have an army behind their efforts, and the show of force is what is keeping most in check.  However, this condition is temporary, and these sociopaths better watch their steps, hence they step over the line, and find they get their own methods getting thrust back into their faces.

D.C. PARADE

George Offerman

Five of us went to Washington, D.C for the homosexual rights parade yesterday to protest. Randall Terry, Dick Retta and I were on bullhorns, while Andrew Becham video taped, and Joseph Landry held signs, and stood ‘body guard’ by Randall Terry. The parade was about everything we had expected, and dreaded.

Prior to the start of the parade, we all prayed at Lafayette Park, and Randall instructed us one last time as the purpose of our mission, and what we were to say. The goal was to preach a positive, but firm message against the sin of homosexuality, that marriage is between a man and a woman, and to repent of this active sin. Randall also mentioned that we would be met with great hostility, but to persevere in our message. We also were there to touch the few hearts that would be receptive to the message.

We left Lafayette Park, and proceeded to 16th street. We arrived before the march started, and Randall boldly walked in the middle of the street, into the midst of a group with a large banner. We followed, and ended up being surrounded by extremely agitated protestors yelling at us to ‘get the f--- out of here’. Some volunteers surrounded us to keep the agitators away, and several attempted to spit on us. We stayed in the midst of this group, until the police told us to go to the sidewalk.

The three of us with bull horns then separated and began to preach to the crowd. The hostility aimed at us was horrendous and the verbiage used unprintable. We put with a great amount of abuse, and about 45 minutes into the march, Dick Retta had several hostile people in front of him, and one young woman attempted to ‘stab’ him with the point of a small flag. I went over and stood body guard for him, as he seemed to attract the most verbally and physically intimidating of the marchers. Dick continued to preach despite the fact he had people grabbing him, mocking him, taking pictures in front of him, making lewd gestures and even taking his signs and destroying them.

I did have a young man named David, who came up to me and asked many inquisitive questions about my views, and actually wanted to debate the nature of my beliefs. As we talked there were two others who came over and joined in on the conversation, and it appeared that some of the points I brought up seemed to resonate with them. We discussed how we do not hate, but want to see repentance and healing for the people here, and for the nation. These young people surprisingly agreed that there was merit to us saying their beliefs were being forced on us, but they also wanted us to leave them alone. We did have others state they didn’t agree with our message, but we had the right to be there.

It definitely was not comfortable being there, and at times outright scary. We had more than a few threaten to ‘kick our a----‘, but the need to be there outweighed the fear and inconvenience of the experience. I told Randall after we left that I cannot imagine an abortuary ever being that hostile, and how many of the protests in the future will seem tame compared to this.

My hope is we will have more warriors with us the next time. Despite the fact it was the most intense protest and march I have seen, there really was a longing in my heart to reach out, and a real sadness when watching the level of debauchery going on in front of us. The disrespect, and almost total hatred for what we hold dearly was a painful experience, but one that will equip me and those present for whatever battle lies ahead.

PROTESTING AT THE RED MASS

George Offerman

The annual Red Mass at St Matthew’s Cathedral in Washington, D.C. this past Sunday had plenty of representation from the Supreme Court. Those present were Justices: Roberts, Scalia, Kennedy, Breyer, Alito and new Justice Sotomayor. Joe Biden, representing the executive branch was also present. The majority of these justices are Catholic, and therefore, would be able to present themselves for communion, which would present an opportunity for Arch Bishop Wuerl to enforce Cannon 915, which stipulates that a person that publicly violates church teachings, in this case abortion, cannot present themselves for Communion.

The protest, lead by pro life leaders Randall Terry, Missy Smith and Dick Retta, focused on getting the message to the Justices that the scourge of this land known as Roe vs. Wade must be overturned and that their Catholic Roots dictate they uphold justice for all. The team arrived at St. Matthew’s cathedral at 8:30 am, and set up our line that included graphic signs, bull horns, and fake blood on our hands.

We had about 75 minutes of preaching time, as all the people had to go through metal detectors to get inside the Cathedral, and also had an opportunity to preach to the justices, who came up individually in chauffeured vehicles. We then had a golden opportunity to preach to the Bishops, who were lined up in procession right across the street from where we were, and had quite a few of the Bishops look at us and our signs. We asked the Bishops to uphold Cannon 915 and to make a statement to those inside how they need to follow the churches teachings.

One of our group members, Joan Mckee, was arrested when trying to get into the mass, and the camera crews there to film the procession quickly went to get this arrest on tape. Joan Mckee was attempting to get into the mass, and was initially turned down due to wearing a pro life tee shirt. We protested her arrest, but they went ahead with it, and this caused a stir amongst the media present and was caught on tape.

After the mass finished, we had more opportunities to get our message out, and preached to the Justices as they left. Randall Terry focused on Vice President Joseph Biden, as Biden snuck out the side door. We then were able to get Sotomayer’s attention briefly by shouting “Woe to you Sotomayor if you do not protect the innocent lives by your judgments on the court.’

We had a priest come up and thank us for our witness. He stated “Many of us are with you, and God Bless You for taking the time and witnessing for the truth. I hope some of them heard your message”. It is gratifying to have some acknowledgment of our efforts from the clergy, and it helps to know some believe we are on the right path.

Overall, we managed to garner attention to the cause of legalized child killing to the Justices and other lawyers in attendance. It is mystifying that we had to do the job of the Church body and so few are willing to take the steps we did, and have been doing for months now. I continue to hope and pray that god sends more warriors to the streets, to finally end this scourging of our land.
