Most of us are troubled – or at least concerned and perplexed – at the possibility of burning the Quran on September 11, 2010. When I heard the news, I was not happy.
The powerful from all four corners have rushed to condemn the planned burning of Qurans. I have prayed and searched the scriptures, and pondered the history of the early Church. I submit the following for your consideration.
Two questions should be asked: Is burning a Quran just? And next, is it prudent?
Historical and theological perspective – unclouded by current passions – can help answer these questions.
But first, let us not forget the that U.S. military commanders in Afghanistan recently burned hundreds of Bibles – printed in the two dominant tongues of the Afghan people – for fear of offending Muslims, and to keep the Bibles from being handed out to Afghan Christians and Muslims. Ignoring this troubling hypocrisy, let us ponder Quran burning.
Throughout the Old and New Testaments, fire is a sign of the judgment of God.
Fire came down on Sodom and Gomorrah; Moses burned the golden calf; Joshua burned cities in Canaan; God ordered enemy chariots and “sacred” pagan idols to be burned in fire; Elijah called fire down to consume military men who came to capture him; when Israel forsook God, God brought the Babylonians to burn Jerusalem – including its palaces and Solomon’s temple – to the ground.
Christ said, “Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees; every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire….” (Matt. 3:10) and "I came to cast fire upon the earth; and would that it were already kindled!” (Luke 12:49)
Similar to burning a Quran, St. Paul the Apostle oversaw the burning of “sacred” books on witchcraft (See Acts 19:19); and of course, the lake of fire is the final place of torment for all who reject the Lord and his Christ (See Rev. 21:8).
In the Christian era, the “sacred” places of pagan Greek and Roman deities were desecrated; many of their idols were defaced and burned. In Rome, the Pantheon was stripped of its idols; its niches were filled with Catholic icons, and an alter for the Holy Eucharist is now the central point of the interior.
Delphi and the Roman Forum – the respective centers of pagan Greco/Roman deities – both lie in ruins; the stones of their “sacred” temples were taken away to build Catholic churches, including St. Peter’s Cathedral.
The historical and theological (Judeo/Christian) proof is inescapable: the “sacred” books, images, and locations of false religions – and their false prophets and priests – are destined for the flames of this world or the next.
Let us beware, lest the current frenzy cloud our judgment.
Should we condemn St. Paul for burning witchcraft books? Should we condemn Joshua for burning the pagan cities of Canaan? Should we condemn the heroes of the Old Testament for burning pagan chariots and idols and desecrating pagan temples? Should we condemn the ancient Catholic Church that conquered the pagan Greco-Roman deities through much suffering, and then destroyed their idols and plundered their temples?
Should we condemn our spiritual forebears because they did not “show respect” to the religious beliefs and buildings and books of false religions?
And should we – I speak as a fool – condemn God himself for burning Sodom and Gomorrah, for ordering the burning of countless idols and temples, and for sending his enemies into the lake of fire for all eternity?
On a theological, metaphysical, and historical level, if Christianity is true, Islam cannot be true. And if Islam is not true, and Christianity’s history and theology repeats itself (as with the pagan religions of Greece and Rome), Delphi and the Roman Forum are the signposts of Islam’s future.
Now let us consider the prudence of Quran burning. Some Christians, politicians and military personnel have warned that burning Qurans on September 11 – the day that thousands of innocent Americans were dispatched into eternity by fire ignited by men inspired by the Quran – could cause American military personnel and Christians worldwide to be in physical danger.
Sadly, this is probably true. And herein lies the hypocrisy and irony.
Christ is blasphemed and belittled every day by great and small, yet no violence follows. The U.S. military burned hundreds of Bibles, and not a peep of protest was heard. In Muslim lands, Christian men are killed and imprisoned; Christian women are raped and enslaved; yet no cry is heard from Secretary of State Clinton, or President Obama, or the U.S. military, or the bulk of the U.S. media.
But when a small church in Florida plans to burn a Quran – a book which is arguably false; a book that has helped spur acts of violence and oppression for nearly 1400 years, including the atrocities of 9/11/2001 – the Western elite cries foul, and the Muslim world girds itself for war. The double standard is offensive.
The irony is that perhaps the “prudence” of burning Qurans will be seen in how the adherents of the “peaceful religion of Islam” react. Is Islam a “peaceful religion” or not? After all, if Islam is an venerable, peaceful religion, bringing peace and brotherhood and justice to the world through Sharia law, what could we possibly have to fear?

MORAL RELATIVISM RUBBED IN OUR FACES

There has been some disheartening news items in the past few days that clearly demonstrate how right is wrong and wrong is right, and the powers that be will do anything to shove this moral relativism down our throats and in our faces. The first instance involved George Grier, the Long Island man arrested for using and discharging an AK 47 in defending his family from 20 + MS 13 pieces of human waste after the human waste made many threats against him and his family. The second is Rahm Emanuel’s ‘coronation’ as the New Mayor of Chicago, and the third is the whole fiasco surrounding the Florida Pastor wanting to burn copies of the Koran.
George Grier was on his way to take his cousin back to the airport, when a gang of MS 13 human waste decided to show up to his house unannounced for tea and crumpets. Given Mr. Grier had other plans, the human waste felt offended they were not getting their tea and crumpets, and decided to threaten him. Mr. Grier, like most sensible people, took the threats seriously, and did what most free Americans ought to do, take responsibility for his own safety. The human waste then called for their own backup, and now 20 + pieces of human waste were openly threatening to “kill you, your family, and all your babies” (I guess it is legal to threaten to kill everyone in your family, especially if you are human waste). Mr. Grier discharged 4 rounds into the ground as a warning to the human waste, and then he was arrested for ‘reckless endangerment’.
Good for Mr. Grier, and shame on the state. The human waste did not show up for tea and crumpets, and did threaten this man. But the state now protects the lawless, and punishes the law abiding. Mr. Grier, being charged with several felonies, is looking at the possibility of prison, which will in effect be a death sentence for him. If he does no jail time, he will still lose his right to bear arms, and the human waste will now know he is disarmed and will most likely kill this man. If this occurs, it will be the state that will have the blood of this man on its hands. The state is too busy trying to protect the illegal alien population, who has imported this human waste of a gang and looks for reasons to punish anyone who dares to defend themselves. Mr. Grier, maybe you should have aimed higher.
The Chicago land line of thuggery continues. For whatever reason, Mayor Daley has decided to not run in the next election cycle, thus opening the door for Rahm Emanuel. The way the press has reported it, it is almost as if this position is Rahm’s for the taking, and the election process is moot. (In Chicago, it is almost a truism. I was born and spent most of my childhood just south of Chicago). There isn’t even a hint of “I need to prove what I can offer to the people of Chicago”, it is more like “I want and covet this job, Daley, get out of my way”. (Maybe Rahm is part of MS 13 and will move the main headquarters there after his ‘election’). The presumptuousness of these people is beyond description. They are so arrogant that they believe they can just declare their intent and get what they want. Maybe Rahm sent some ‘dead fish’ to Daley, and others to let them know ‘don’t mess with me’. This is a blatant show of abusive power by the elite, and pretty much an ‘up yours’ attitude towards the rule of law.
Pastor Terry Jones of the Dove world Outreach Center is proceeding on with his plans to burn copies of the Koran on 9-11. Everyone is coming out of the woodwork to ‘condemn’ this ‘outrageous and provocative act’, including General Petraeus, Rahm Emanuel, Eric Holder and Hillary Clinton. President Obama went as far as warning that it “will incite many Muslims to join al queda if this occurs”. Interesting comment made by Obama concerning this RELIGION OF PEACE. Where were these people when the RELIGION OF PEACE representatives decapitated Nick Berg, and posted the video on Al Jazeera and all over the internet? Where are these people when the RELIGION OF PEACE unequivocally declares Israel should be ‘blown off the map’? Why don’t other representatives of the RELIGION OF PEACE denounce Hamas? Whether or not one agrees with Pastor Jones in his burning the Koran, Pastor Jones does make a valid point when saying “When is enough enough” concerning the advancement and tolerance of this RELIGION OF PEACE in their violence towards those they consider enemies, and wanting to put up victory Mosques and/or Islamic symbols at ground zero and Shanksville, Pennsylvania? Could you even begin to imagine if anyone in Christianity did ANY of this? It would be outlawed world wide in short order. The RELIGION OF PEACE gets a free pass.
Things are stark raving crazy in our world, and it seems like the average individual is no longer able to process this information with any sort of objectivity. Things cannot possibly go on much longer with this insanity, and we can only continue that our Lord Jesus Christ intervenes, and either change hearts, or end this charade.

HERMENEUTICS 101: THE FULL CUP PRINCIPLE

“I the Lord have spoken. The time has come for me to act. I will not hold back; I will have no pity, nor will I relent. You will be judged according to your conduct and your actions, declares the Sovereign Lord”. Ezekiel 24:14
The Bible is unequivocal concerning the state of man, the nature of sin, and the unchanging nature of God. This posting will quote several scriptural verses to demonstrate the full cup principle from both the Old and New Testaments, which will fulfill the requirement that it not be taken out of context, and to demonstrate this principle continues to be in effect especially in the (near) future. God is unchanging and knows the beginning from the end. Our modern theology likes to paint God as somewhat distant and unconcerned with day to day activities and neglects to discuss the Judgment factors God will mete out in the future. The Church loves to talk about the Divine Mercy of God, but rarely, if ever, talks about the Divine Judgment of God.
“When the Lamb opened the fourth seal… I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by the sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth” Revelation 6:7-8
In our modern times, all manner of sin is taking place and is seemingly ignored by God due to what appears to be His silence. This has lead to much complacency in our Churches, as the word sin is rarely ever used, and the average Christians sees themselves as going to heaven regardless of what they do, because they are ‘saved”. For the churches, this only proves their dereliction of duty, and false teachings. Many people are ready to fall into a trap, and the Churches are encouraging them on this road. The idea that one has a ‘cup to fill’ goes against the ‘anything goes’ philosophy and theology of our modern times, and most scoff at the idea that God is anything but ‘love’ (read: tolerance of sin). What does the Bible have to say about this?
“Now, all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God WILL BRING EVERY DEED into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
“I have brought upon Jerusalem – every disaster I have brought upon it. You will be consoled when you see their conduct and their actions, for you will know that I HAVE DONE NOTHING IN IT WITHOUT CAUSE, declares the Sovereign Lord.” Ezekiel 14:21-23.
“Then the Lord said to him (Abraham) Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own, and they will be enslaved and mistreated four hundred years. But I will PUNISH THE NATION they serve as slaves, and afterward they will come out with great possessions. You, however, will go to your fathers in peace and be buried at a good old age. In the fourth generation your descendants will come back here, FOR THE SINS OF THE AMORITES HAS NOT YET REACHED ITS FULL MEASURE”. Genesis 15:13-16
“No, it is on the account of the WICKEDNESS OF THESE NATIONS that the Lord is going to drive them out before you. It is not because of your righteousness or your integrity that you are going in to take possession of their land; BUT ON THE ACCOUNT OF THE WICKEDNESS OF THESE NATIONS...” Deuteronomy 9:4-5.
New Testament examples
“…you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when His righteous judgment will be revealed. God will give to each person according to what he has done. But for those who are self seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil there will be WRATH AND ANGER.” Romans 2:5,6,8
“For we all must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad” 2 Corinthians 5:10
Finally, the words of Jesus
“FILL UP, THEN, THE MEASURE OF THE SIN of your forefathers! You Snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?” Matthew 23:32-33
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. LOOK, YOUR HOUSE IS LEFT TO YOU DESOLATE.” Matthew 23:37-38
Finally, for future references and continuity
“Then I saw in heaven another marvelous event of great significance. Seven angels were holding the seven last plagues, which WOULD BRING GOD’S WRATH TO COMPLETION” Revelation 15:1
There are numerous verses that demonstrate this principle and I leave it up to the reader to do his own research on this matter. But the above verses should clearly demonstrate God does have a limit in his patience and tolerance of sin. This is called Divine Justice. Divine Justice counterbalances Divine Mercy, and both must be present in order for perfect love to exist. God cannot turn a blind eye to the evils perpetuated against the innocent, and be considered a loving God if all are treated in the same manner. Love requires protection of the innocent and vulnerable, and if these evil people and beings had access to heaven, heaven would soon become hell, and God will not stand for that. That is why Satan has been banned from heaven, as all who choose to follow evil will be at the end of time.
The epitome of the full cup principle is that God is longsuffering, and desires all to be saved. However, there does come a time in which continued existence of those choosing to practice evil will only be destructive for the righteous, and it is at that point God breaks into history and Judges. The full cup principle covers not only the world (as will be seen in Revelation times), but nations, regions, communities and even individuals. One’s cup is full when continued existence bears no positive fruits, promptings by the Holy Spirit are rebuffed, and the heart is totally cold. Judgment is forestalled (Nineveh) if one repents prior to filling his cup, but once the cup is filled and that ‘unpardonable sin’ is committed, judgment proceeds.
The full cup principle exists for the safety of the righteous. If good and evil are on the same plane, God truly would be a cosmic liar and bully, as Satan has painted him out to be. God’s way is the superior way, and the only way, for that matter. Only the righteous will gain heaven and they attain this by living out the Biblical principles given to us by Jesus and the prophets. This also includes those who have yet to be born, and the shedding of innocent blood is the NUMBER ONE SIN in the Bible. The shedding of blood will bring about the harshest of judgments, and judgment will occur without atonement. Atonement can be accomplished only through repentance and changing the lawless ways. Do we see this happening in this country at this time? As a country, we do have a cup, and we fill it more every day as we allow the shedding of innocent blood to occur. There is an end point; that we can count on.
Why our churches shy away from teaching this principle is beyond my understanding. The more Christianity is liberalized, the worse our society gets, and there seems to be more fear and insecurity than ever before. The time we need to have the clearest and strongest teachings, which is now, seems to be the time of the greatest fall of the Church in their duty to be the ‘light of the world’. What would Jesus say, if He were to make an appearance in Washington, D.C? Would it sound something like this? (for your discernment)

Judgment is forestalled (Nineveh) if one repents prior to filling his cup, but once the cup is filled and that ‘unpardonable sin’ is committed, judgment proceeds.
The full cup principle exists for the safety of the righteous. If good and evil are on the same plane, God truly would be a cosmic liar and bully, as Satan has painted him out to be. God’s way is the superior way, and the only way, for that matter. Only the righteous will gain heaven and they attain this by living out the Biblical principles given to us by Jesus and the prophets. This also includes those who have yet to be born, and the shedding of innocent blood is the NUMBER ONE SIN in the Bible. The shedding of blood will bring about the harshest of judgments, and judgment will occur without atonement. Atonement can be accomplished only through repentance and changing the lawless ways. Do we see this happening in this country at this time? As a country, we do have a cup, and we fill it more every day as we allow the shedding of innocent blood to occur. There is an end point; that we can count on.
Why our churches shy away from teaching this principle is beyond my understanding. The more Christianity is liberalized, the worse our society gets, and there seems to be more fear and insecurity than ever before. The time we need to have the clearest and strongest teachings, which is now, seems to be the time of the greatest fall of the Church in their duty to be the ‘light of the world’. What would Jesus say, if He were to make an appearance in Washington, D.C? Would it sound something like this? (for your discernment)
“O AMERICA, AMERICA, you who kill the prophets and abort those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. LOOK, YOUR HOUSE IS LEFT TO YOU DESOLATE.”

NOW SOROS IS GETTING INTO THE ACT

For those of you who believe George Soros, better known as a scumbag’s scumbag, has little to nothing to do with legalized child killing, think again and do your homework. When this piece of human filth gets involved in any activity, destruction usually follows accompanied with a strong sulphuric smell. There are not too many people who embody evil like this scumbag does, and now that he has his serpent like gaze fixed on the tea party, all hell is likely to break loose. This scumbag embodies everything the modern Babylon is trying to do, and he definitely is one of the very visible elite that hide little in the sense of what his intentions are.
Soros was the main catalyst for the Asian currency crisis of 1997, when he shorted the dominant currency and in effect, financially ruined hundreds of thousands of people as well as nearly plunging the world into an economic depression. This scumbag pocketed billions on the backs of this very large population and the powers that be protected him. Soros reportedly pocketed 2 billion in 2000 when he shorted the British Pound. This scumbag has stuck his blood soaked paws in too much of the world’s business, and has steered very evil legislation through this country.
Soros is an extremist in his socialistic agenda, and has funded or founded organizations that are radically environmentalist, anti American and pro U.N., gun control, marijuana legalization, and taxpayer funded abortion on demand. It is said by many, that Soros ‘owns’ the Democratic Party and fairly well has his way concerning their platform. Give this scumbag circumvents the law on a regular basis, his current target of the tea party better be prepared to have a war declared on it that it has not seen up to this point.
Elitists like Soros do not want to see the sheeple awaken, and become a threat to their plans of a one world government. The tea party threatens nearly all of their plans and these scumbags do not want to take any chances that the ‘riff raff’ derail the efforts put in up to this point. For those who still do not believe there is an evil organization out there bent upon the destruction of what we hold dear, there is a term for you: cognitive dissonance. People like Soros are so out in the open with their agendas, that only the most uninformed can deny what is right in front of their eyes. The powers that be, lead by Soros are out to destroy the tea party, as well as freedoms in this country.

HERMENEUTICS IN TODAY'S WORLD

I have been appreciative for the positive feedback from the hermeneutics series, and decided to make some clarification outside of the normal Wednesday postings. It seems people are hungry for sensible teachings that involve neither ‘fractured scripture’ nor sensationalism, which seem to be too prevalent today. I suppose it is really ingrained in human nature to be seen as ‘the man’ and have all the answers. The Bible, when read properly, should be understood by anyone at anytime in history, and anyone would have the ability to apply its lessons to any situation we will ever encounter. What seems to be such a simple process is made too complex by those who want to convince the average person that they are too stupid to figure it out on their own.
Proper interpretation of the Bible not only guides an individual in his life, but more importantly, allows himself to understand the times he lives in, as well as understanding the nature of how the Bible precepts play themselves out, and demonstrates how alive the faith is, and how personally involved God is in our lives. For instance, God desire for us to be free, but freedom comes with great responsibility. When we give our freedom away, as is occurring in our country today, we become slaves to those we give this power to. This plays into Satan’s hands, and only results in misery and discord. This is a universal principle, and history backs this 100%. How many slave states have persevered throughout history? None. But man keeps trying anyway, because that is the nature of rebellion. That is why the Babylon of Revelation will be so evil.
Satan also wants to convince the average person that he is inconsequential, that he is a ‘small person’ and cannot do or think for himself. There will be many a ‘small person’ that will have very exalted positions in heaven by virtue they took care of an ailing spouse, child or parent, when it would have been easier to ‘dump’ them onto the state. They will be exalted, because they gave their most precious commodity, time, in the greatest service to their fellow man of their own free will. This does not go unnoticed in God’s economy, and most likely their eternal reward will be freedoms magnified infinitely, compared to what seems like being ‘chained’ in this lifetime. Many who are magnified in this lifetime may very well be heaven’s janitors (if there is such a thing). Believing one is inconsequential is demonic theology and goes against what God has stated about His creation.
This age is time limited. Satan has many convinced that the ‘status quo’ is perpetual, and that nothing is going to change. We see this reflected in the Churches and political arena at this time, and most of the laity have given up or have bunkered down. There are too many things wrong in our society and world for this age to go on perpetually, and we are seeing huge fissures growing in the dam, which is near bursting. It is comical to see those wanting to believe things are alright, and that we will ‘get back on track’ by our own efforts. (As they say in New York: fuggedaboudit) The age as we know it is coming to an end right before our eyes and no amount of BS from the MSM, Church, politician or any other false source will change this fact. Whether it is the start of Revelation will be seen, but the current state of affairs is too evil, and the Living God will break into history and make the necessary changes so that those who have yet to be born will have their time to complete their God given missions.
Unlike what many have stated or believe, we are privileged to be living at this time. With great darkness comes great opportunity. We all bear crosses and there is no way around the hardships and sufferings of this life. Satan has infected our belief system by instigating relativism and the idea that life should be easy, and when it is not, it’s someone else’s fault, and we need to sue them. Standing up for the faith, and seeing others become inspired to act due to our own actions brings the greatest joy one can imagine. This doesn’t happen in ‘good times’, but in times of adversity. It also brings about abundance in blessings and a great awareness of what is happening in the current situation and what actions to take. All of these things help us grow in our faith and prepare us for eternity.
In short, the Bible is affirmed by simply observing what is going on all around us. Only the deluded would argue against this (and there are many who are deluded) and it breeds confusion. Those who dare to walk in faith have great rewards, especially now, and it only affirms the precepts and tenets of the faith. The more one walks in faith, the more the world looks foolish, and with this awareness, the individual has a tendency to see himself once again as a sojourner through this life. We are called to love people and use things, not use people and love things (including status). When this occurs, peace and harmony are present. Then we are on the route to God pleasing and healthy living. The Book gives the directions; we only need to follow it.

HEY RAHM, DON'T LET THIS CRISIS GO TO WASTE

There has been a lot of analysis over the motives and ‘mental health status’ of gunman and explosives expert James Lee. What is most interesting about the talking heads and liberal mainstream media types is that Mr. Lee was angered over Discovery’s programming that seemed to ‘glorify’ large families, and unsound environmental programming. Evidently, Mr. Lee was a strong proponent of population control, and decided to demonstrate the nature of his beliefs through the threat of violence. No one in the MSM or any of the talking heads are looking at the ‘liberal influence’ or how the ‘screeching Al Gore’ influenced him to do what he did. If Mr. Lee even breathed within one mile of any position held by the tea party, you can bet your life savings X 10 all hell would break loose, and Obamination would be making a teleprompter speech from the oval office calling for massive increases in homeland security to take care of the ‘home grown terrorists’.
Now, for those who don’t partake of the government distributed and funded kool aid, Mr. Lee appeared to be mentally imbalanced. Unlike what many in the government would like you to believe, we as free willed human beings are actually responsible for our behavior. Us and us only. Yes we can be influenced by our environment, but we are ultimately responsible for ourselves. That is why God gave us a brain, but unfortunately our modern society and education policies has dumbed down the population to such an extent, that most people would dispute such a simple notion as pure nonsense. Mr. Lee was exposed to this liberal material, and through whatever distorted mental process he filtered it, he came to the conclusion he must use violence to make his point. This decision was Mr. Lee’s and Mr. Lee’s only, and regardless of how off base Mr. Gore and Mr. Moore and others are, Mr. Lee chose, using his free will, to step way over the line. End of story.
Now, it will be very interesting to see how Rahm Emanuel and co. reacts to this event. My guess it will be they believe this person is insane, due to the fact that believing in Mr. Gore, Mr. Moore and the premise that the world is overpopulated and that all infants are parasites, and thus need to be eliminated is considered a very sane position, and the only way anyone holding the party line could actually be VIOLENT would be insanity, not believing in this philosophy. So, we will see if Rahm is able to spin and use this ‘crisis’ to somehow demonize the tea party people, Christianity or maybe the weevils of capitalism, and not enough regulation for programming on cable television. The one thing these clowns will never do is to discuss Mr. Lee’s beliefs and be critical of them, or look to ‘demonize’ those who pedal them non stop on state sponsored media.
Those who can think for themselves will understand clearly that Mr. Lee acted on his own accord. There is no need to blame anyone else, as no one else is to blame. We have information bombardment like never before in the history of the world, and it is our job to sift through the garbage and find those occasional golden nuggets that will sustain us and promote better life. People have a right to present their thoughts and beliefs, and I have a right to disregard and disagree with them. As people of free will given by God, we are the ones who need to develop our abilities to discern, and we do not need to depend on government thugs to tell us what we think and how we need to behave. I can only hope and pray that this truly mentally ill individual is not portrayed into something he is not and in turn have these thugs then promote the need to take more God given rights away from us. Let’s hope this is one crisis that even these thugs will recognize ought to just die on the spot.

HERMENEUTICS 101: THE TOWER OF BABEL

The story of the tower of Babel falls within what is known as the Table of nations, which is in effect a genealogy of Noah’s descendents through Shem, Ham and Japheth. If one follows the genealogy far enough, they will reach the line of Cush, whose son, Nimrod was known as the great hunter, and spearheaded the eventual construction of the first city of Babylon. Nimrod’s motives for building this city were evil in intent, and Nimrod is fairly well known as the ‘father’ of the first of the mystery religions that have permeated from Babylon and ever since. This story, despite being brief, is very important in that it effectively sets the stage for all future false religions and pursuits of forbidden knowledge. The story of the tower of Babel follows:
"Now the whole earth had one language and few words. And as men migrated from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. And they said to one another, 'Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.' And they had brick for stone, and bitumen for mortar. Then they said, 'Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.' And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the sons of men had built. And the LORD said, 'Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do; and nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. Come, let us go down, and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.' So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city.' Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of all the earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth." (Genesis 11:1-9)
The tower of Babel was man’s first attempt at a one world government only a few generations after the flood. With Satan’s knowledge that God promised to never destroy man again through a flood, Satan began his reinfecting the lineage of man by defying what God had requested of man: to scatter and populate the earth. The construction of Babel represented two things that defied God; 1) that man was to be a sojourner and 2) man was to worship God in spirit and in truth. By building a city, man could now be enslaved and controlled, and by building a tower with the intent to ‘reach heaven’ man in essence opened the door to spiritual deception by building this monument to glorify himself, as well as access areas in which were off limits to him. By virtue this group did this for selfish reasons, Satan was able to take control and guide these efforts, and as such successfully introduced the foundation for all false religions that continue to exist to this day.
The efforts to build this City and Tower by what was considered the mightiest man at the time, Nimrod, is a reflection of things to come in the new Babylon, but onto that in a moment or so. The attempt to create a one world organization is defiance against the will of God and will ultimately end in failure, because a one world organization ENSLAVES men, not frees them, and God demands freedom for his creation. Satan enslaves, and through fear, Satan is able to accomplish his goals of enslavement, which breeds contempt and anger, which results in sin. So it will be at the time of Revelation, when fear will rule, and man again, will be ripe for another ‘mighty man’ to arise and take over.
Since the time of the first tower of Babel, man has had a propensity to worship on ‘high places’ denoting demonic influences. All mystery religions can be traced back to Babylon, and that is why in Revelation the City of Babylon is referred to as ‘the harlot’ in which the world fornicated with. Man has preferred to worship at the alter of Babylon than of God, and as such, has been misguided in nearly every conceivable way, similar to our current times. All of the religions have been infected or infiltrated by Satan, and thus, misrepresent the true nature of God, and thus qualify as Babel, which means confusion. When the idea is accepted that ‘all paths lead to God’, and by extension salvation, there is not much incentive to follow the straight and narrow, and those who do look ridiculous and stupid. That is what Babylon was about, and what the future Babylon will be.
The lessons of this story are numerous and give us much insight into the thoughts of God and glimmers into the future (eschatology). Since the time of Babel, man has not had the ability to speak as ‘one’, although the advent and abilities of the computer is changing that. God has revealed to us that if we are of one mind, there is nothing we cannot accomplish. This is in both the good and evil arenas of life, and it ultimately requires actions and beliefs in what one is doing. Sometime in the future, most likely through the use of computers, man once again will have the ability to be one in his endeavors, and will recreate Babylon. This time, he will be successful, albeit for a short time, and this new creation will be the most intense and encompassing one world theocratic government, which will have both the city (secular) with the tower (religious) and will glorify man and his accomplishments more than God.
We are seeing now more than ever, the pieces coming into place for a one world government. We are also seeing the elimination of all established religions in favor of secular humanism with its doctrines of scarcity, relativism and intolerance towards those who do not ‘believe’ or are not considered enlightened. We are seeing increases in persecution all over the world of the faith, coupled with outright mockery and blatant violations of the basic tenets of our faith. If this is not a recreation of the Babylon of old, then I don’t know what is.
The story of the tower of Babel falls within what is known as the Table of nations, which is in effect a genealogy of Noah’s descendents through Shem, Ham and Japheth. If one follows the genealogy far enough, they will reach the line of Cush, whose son, Nimrod was known as the great hunter, and spearheaded the eventual construction of the first city of Babylon. Nimrod’s motives for building this city were evil in intent, and Nimrod is fairly well known as the ‘father’ of the first of the mystery religions that have permeated from Babylon and ever since. This story, despite being brief, is very important in that it effectively sets the stage for all future false religions and pursuits of forbidden knowledge. The story of the tower of Babel follows:
"Now the whole earth had one language and few words. And as men migrated from the east, they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. And they said to one another, 'Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.' And they had brick for stone, and bitumen for mortar. Then they said, 'Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.' And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the sons of men had built. And the LORD said, 'Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do; and nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. Come, let us go down, and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.' So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city.' Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of all the earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth." (Genesis 11:1-9)
The tower of Babel was man’s first attempt at a one world government only a few generations after the flood. With Satan’s knowledge that God promised to never destroy man again through a flood, Satan began his reinfecting the lineage of man by defying what God had requested of man: to scatter and populate the earth. The construction of Babel represented two things that defied God; 1) that man was to be a sojourner and 2) man was to worship God in spirit and in truth. By building a city, man could now be enslaved and controlled, and by building a tower with the intent to ‘reach heaven’ man in essence opened the door to spiritual deception by building this monument to glorify himself, as well as access areas in which were off limits to him. By virtue this group did this for selfish reasons, Satan was able to take control and guide these efforts, and as such successfully introduced the foundation for all false religions that continue to exist to this day.
The efforts to build this City and Tower by what was considered the mightiest man at the time, Nimrod, is a reflection of things to come in the new Babylon, but onto that in a moment or so. The attempt to create a one world organization is defiance against the will of God and will ultimately end in failure, because a one world organization ENSLAVES men, not frees them, and God demands freedom for his creation. Satan enslaves, and through fear, Satan is able to accomplish his goals of enslavement, which breeds contempt and anger, which results in sin. So it will be at the time of Revelation, when fear will rule, and man again, will be ripe for another ‘mighty man’ to arise and take over.
Since the time of the first tower of Babel, man has had a propensity to worship on ‘high places’ denoting demonic influences. All mystery religions can be traced back to Babylon, and that is why in Revelation the City of Babylon is referred to as ‘the harlot’ in which the world fornicated with. Man has preferred to worship at the alter of Babylon than of God, and as such, has been misguided in nearly every conceivable way, similar to our current times. All of the religions have been infected or infiltrated by Satan, and thus, misrepresent the true nature of God, and thus qualify as Babel, which means confusion. When the idea is accepted that ‘all paths lead to God’, and by extension salvation, there is not much incentive to follow the straight and narrow, and those who do look ridiculous and stupid. That is what Babylon was about, and what the future Babylon will be.
The lessons of this story are numerous and give us much insight into the thoughts of God and glimmers into the future (eschatology). Since the time of Babel, man has not had the ability to speak as ‘one’, although the advent and abilities of the computer is changing that. God has revealed to us that if we are of one mind, there is nothing we cannot accomplish. This is in both the good and evil arenas of life, and it ultimately requires actions and beliefs in what one is doing. Sometime in the future, most likely through the use of computers, man once again will have the ability to be one in his endeavors, and will recreate Babylon. This time, he will be successful, albeit for a short time, and this new creation will be the most intense and encompassing one world theocratic government, which will have both the city (secular) with the tower (religious) and will glorify man and his accomplishments more than God.
We are seeing now more than ever, the pieces coming into place for a one world government.
