WHERE ARE THE PRO LIFERS?

George Offerman

Three weeks out now from the elections and where are the pro lifers? There’s a lot of ‘gaming’ going on, and many pro lifers and their organizations are ‘piggybacking’ on the efforts of the tea party. We have viable candidates, and there seems to be little energy by our side in this most pivotal of times and election cycles. We have one of the greatest opportunities to make a difference, and it is business as usual for most. (gee, why are we losing?)

Missy Reilly Smith, running for congress in Washington, D.C. has some of the best credentials of ANY pro life candidate EVER and she is essentially being ‘iced out’ by most of the mainstream pro life groups and prominent individuals. Mrs. Smith has the first hand knowledge of legalized child killing, and the BOLDEST ads that will be shown on television, if we get it together and sponsor them. They will run in the ‘belly of the beast’ here in the D.C. area, and the likes of Pelosi on down will be exposed to them. The real effects of child killing will be exposed for all to see. Finally, with these ads we will have the ability to debate and show how grisly this crime against humanity actually is.

It is totally astounding that the pro lifers are not lining up behind this effort (or maybe it isn’t). We have to be able to call these forces out before the destruction is done, because too many will do too much ‘Monday morning quarterbacking’ about the ‘missed opportunities’ when the opportunities were in the open for all to see. These ads challenge the safety and comfort level of all who see them, and for too many pro lifers, it will be a place they are unwilling to go, so it is better, in their minds at least, to go with the ‘safer’ candidate, the ones who are not controversial and ‘in your face’. We are too late in the game to placate the enemy any more and it is time to take the gloves off and fight this war like real warriors and not wimps.

The following letter is from Missy Smith, and we need to put our money where our mouths are.

Well, the day has arrived that we have all been waiting for! It's been 38 long years of media blackout on the issue of legalized child killing. I am running for Congress in Washington D.C. with the express purpose of running political ads on tv of graphic pictures of healthy and dead babies.

As Father Frank Pavone, the most famous pro-life priest in the world, has said, "America will not reject abortion until America sees abortion"!

So here I am, Missy "Reilly" Smith, in "the belly of the beast", Washington D.C. on the ballot running against big government, pro-child killing, same sex marriage incumbent Eleanor Holmes Norton.

The two ads I have made for my campaign are up on my website missysmith2010.com and they are jolting! Watch them and tell me what you think. And then tell everyone you know to dig deep into their pockets and give until it hurts, as Mother Teresa would say.
We know these ads will save babies and get the dialogue started that is so needed. No one can see these ads and not realize that abortion is murder.

Tell everyone that we have a small window of opportunity in the next 22 days and not a moment more. Once the election is over the possibility to run these ads is over.

We must rise and strike now! I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing opportunity to change history and show the horror of legalized child killing.

God bless this chance we have to show the truth in our nation's capitol where Obama, Pelosi, Reid and Norton all support and promote legalized child killing.

Pass this information on to others. Time is of the essence!

God bless you,

Missy "Reilly" Smith
Candidate for Delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives
Washington, D.C.
